Who are Romance Writers?
Romance Writers of America has 8,200 members. Most of these members reside in
the United States and Canada, although there are members world-wide. Of RWA's

Romance writers are a diverse group, librarians, school teachers, business people,
accountants, mothers, grandmothers, attorneys, even military personnel.
Who reads these novels, anyway?
The Romance Writers of America recently commissioned a survey on American reading

Of those, 3.5 million were men, leaving 37.9 million women readers.

7% earn between $75,000 and $100,000.
